International Justice Day on July 17, 2010 has officially come to an end. It was a wonderful day filled with celebrations across the United States and around the world. We succeeded in our goal of celebrating international criminal justice, the achievements of the International Criminal Court and, of course, remembering victims of atrocity crimes.
We would like to thank all of you who came out to celebrate July 17 – International Justice Day wouldn’t be possible without the support of civil society. On July 17 americans from all over the country told Obama to finish the policy on the ICC he began, and we thank all of you who sent letters. If you haven’t done so already, its not too late to urge the administration toward action on the ICC. Click here for the action alert.

Tomorrow, on July 17, there will be a number of events held across the country celebrating the birthday of the International Criminal Court and the end of impunity for perpetrators of atrocity crimes, as well as remebering the victims of heinous crimes. With International Justice Day only a few days away, we have updated our EVENTS page to reflect all of the events that are pouring in from across the country! There are events in New York, Missouri, Washinton D.C., California, and even online, so there is bound to be an event near you.

We are happy to report that International Justice Day will be celebrated across the country in a variety of events.
